What is tallow and why is it good for my skin?

Tallow is rendered beef fat that closely mirrors the composition of human skin, making it exceptionally compatible and easily absorbed. It's rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K and fatty acids like oleic and stearic acid that deeply moisturize, restore the skin barrier, and support a soft, healthy complexion.

Can I sell this under my own brand?

Yes. Every size and scent is available Unlabeled so you can apply your own packaging, or select Custom Label and we'll apply your artwork before the order ships.

What sizes and scents can I order?

Balms come in 2 oz and 4 oz. Scents are Unscented, Vanilla, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Frankincense, Bergamot, and Cedarwood. Choose Custom if you have a different scent profile in mind and we'll work it out with you.

How is this different from your whipped tallow balm?

Same ingredients, different texture. Our whipped balm is aerated into a light, fluffy cream. This traditional balm is poured and set as a classic salve, so it's denser and firmer and a little goes a long way. Stock whichever texture your customers prefer, or both.

How is this different from other wholesale tallow balms?

Other tallow balms are often cut with additional chemicals and lotions to stretch shelf life. We guarantee nothing is added that isn't on the ingredient list. Because we produce in small batches, shelf life is not a problem—our balms last a full year at room temperature.

How long does production take?

Every batch is handcrafted in Harbeson, Delaware. We make in small batches and go from the farm to your hands in under 8 weeks, with no artificial ingredients added to extend shelf life.
