This was an amazing purchase. We use a lot of citric acid as we tan furs on the regular. Will reorder when we run out.

I bought this to help get the PH down in my garden this coming spring. But seen another person use in water softener, worked perfect in mine. I know because the PH of my soft water was 8.4, but after putting 1 cup dissolved in water into the salt brine then recycling overnight brought PH down to 6.5. Should be much better for the valves and plumbing from salt buildup. Also salt can not remove the iron buildup in the bead medium, will cause softener failure over time, but citric acid can.

This is top grade citric acid and by far the best bargain. I use this a lot to clean pumps and fixtures from my saltwater aquarium, but also have used it to keep the washing machine and dishwasher clean.
